Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance

By using Marketplace SA, you agree to these Terms. These Terms are governed by South African law including the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECT Act) and the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).

3. Use of Platform

You must be 18 or older to use this Platform. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain account security, and not use the Platform for unlawful purposes. By registering, you consent to Glenmore Technologies Pty Ltd processing your personal information in accordance with POPIA (Act 4 of 2013).

4. Service Providers

Providers are independently registered and are not employees or agents of Glenmore Technologies Pty Ltd. Providers warrant they are legally authorised to offer listed services and hold all necessary licences. The Company acts as an intermediary only and accepts no liability for services rendered by listed providers. Always verify credentials and obtain written quotes before hiring.

5. Bookings

Bookings are requests only and are not confirmed until the Provider accepts. No payment processing for services occurs through the Platform.

6. Featured Listings & Payments

Featured listing subscriptions are billed monthly at R299. VAT is not applicable as we are below the VAT registration threshold. Subscriptions auto-renew monthly until cancelled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

7. Cooling-Off Right (ECT Act Section 44)

You may cancel a featured listing subscription within 7 days of your first payment for a full refund. To exercise this right, email info@glenmoretechnologies.co.za with subject line CANCEL within 7 days of payment. No refunds are available after the 7-day cooling-off period.

8. Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted to info@glenmoretechnologies.co.za. Approved refunds will be processed within 7 business days via the original payment method. No partial-month refunds are available after the cooling-off period.

9. Complaints

To lodge a complaint, email info@glenmoretechnologies.co.za with subject line COMPLAINT. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and respond within 5 business days. Unresolved complaints may be escalated to the National Consumer Commission (NCC) at www.thencc.org.za or the Information Regulator at www.inforegulator.org.za.

10. Intellectual Property

All content and trademarks are owned by Glenmore Technologies Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce or distribute content without written consent.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform or services rendered by listed providers. Nothing in these Terms limits rights afforded to consumers under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
